Our role and responsibility though the preconstruction phase is to partner with the client and design team to provide professional expertise and market knowledge. From the earliest scope issuance, we are able to effectively manage the budget, schedule, constructability and programming needs.
Our process begins with a team-based construction management approach that involves effective communication and collaboration with the entire project team. Our construction teams have extensive experience in project oversight, subcontractor management and quality control, which leads to successful projects.
Our Special Projects Group (SPG) is designed to efficiently manage and execute projects that are smaller in scope yet essential to the overall success of our organization.

LEED Certification
We have extensive knowledge of and experience with the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED certification process. Most of our project managers and estimators are LEED-accredited professionals and all H.W. Houston employees are familiar with the “green” principles established by LEED and similar programs. We have analyzed many projects looking to use a “green” building rating system and help weigh out the pros and cons of the available certifications.
